Temple Blessings

Okay I know its been awhile since we really posted anything worth reading, but work has started and ive been a slacker. This post is going to be short and sweet because i have to go to work soon, but this is more or less like a journal, so i feel like i really need to say something today. I just want Destry to know how much i truly love and appreciate him with all of my heart. I've kind of had a rough last couple of days, and i havent said much about it, but while i was cleaning the house last night, Destry called me and asked me if i wanted to go to the temple. It was a spur of the moment trip and we had to hurry to make it down for the last session, but it was truly what i needed to make my week go a little better. I know that its something that people do all of the time, but i want him to know how much i appreciate it. It means so much to me to have someone who honors and holds the priesthood in my life, and that is willing to love and support me. The temple is such a special place, and its so nice to be able to have him want to go with me. I am so greatful to finally know what the blessings of the temple are all about this last few months and to be able to know that I get to be sealed to someone forever. Thanks so much sweetie! I love you and appreciate everything you do!

Well hi its us again. Things are going great here at the Orr house. We've just been staying busy probably more then we would like but thats okay. Liz gets to go back to work on Thursday so she's excited for that. She's been pretty bored at home by herself. As for me I'm still staying busy. This weekend were going down to Utah. My sister Nichole and her husband Brad are building a new house so were going down to wire it. It should be fun. Were excited to get to see our neices. It feels like forever since we have seen them. Our two kids are also growing. Since we don't have any kids to talk about like everybody else, you guys get to hear about our dogs. There both getting to be pretty good little hunters too. It's fun to see them grow from little puppies to good hunting dogs. Here's some pictures and a video on how there doing. Anyway thats about it for us. We'll talk to ya later. Love Destry, Liz, Bailey, and Rugar.

Memory Lane

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

This last couple of weeks has really been a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. First of all, my little sister Alison (shes 16) got some free movie tickets awhile ago and has been begging me to go to a movie with her. We ended up going to the movie Wall-E. There were some parts of the movie that were boring, but we made up for it by all of the fun we had. Its hard getting used to not seeing my family everyday, but its still so much fun when we do spend time together.
Yesterday I ended up going to the mall with my sisters and mom, and I found a way cute dress in sears for $4! I was so proud of myself! It was really fun to go shopping together and spend time together.
Finally, at the end of the day yesterday, one of my really good friends from high school called me and said that she was coming up from Boise. She asked me to go to lunch with her and spend some time doing whatever the next day. We got together this afternoon and it was a blast! Jacy locked her keys in the car, but other than that it was really fun. Their family owns a house right on the river, so we got in their boat and went up and down the river all afternoon. It was fun to be able to just relax and catch up with her. I miss her so much and wish that she could live a little closer!
Tomorrow is going to be filled with a lot of excitement. Destrys boss bougt us a whitewater rafting trip in montana. Im a little sad about missing the parade, and a little nervous, but im also excited for a new adventure! Im also getting ready for my 5k run tomorrow! I am a little nervous, but i have been running 4 1/2 miles everyday, so hopefully that will be enough to make it through the 3 mile run tomorrow! Wish me luck!~

Were still here!

Hey everybody. How are things going. The Orr clan is doing good. Were just staying busy. Liz is all done with summer school so she's keeping busy between cleaning the house, excersising, and chasing the dogs around. Work for me is really busy. It seems like we stay busy, enough to be home at six but not these past few weeks. It seems like we've just got dumped on. We have about 5 houses we have to trim out, about 3 spud cellars, and a bunch of other just little jobs here and there but everybody wants them done now. We also bought a new pickup. Here's a picture of it. So anyway were selling our Colorado. It's a 2005. Four door, silver, and with 74,200 miles. Were selling it for $17,000 obo so if anybody is interested you can call me at 317-0364. Anyway now that we got our sells pitch out of the way. I hope everybody is doing good and we hope to see everybody around. See ya.

He's home!

Well i decided after looking at everyones blog that we need to start taking more pictures and actually carrying a camera around with us!
Destry had to leave for Montana to go wire a spud pit on sunday. I know that a lot of wives go without their husbands for a lot longer than I did (he got back tuesday night) but it was my first time being alone without him, so needless to say I missed him a lot. There are a lot of times that i dont realize how much i take him being able to be home for granted! He is my best friend, and im definately glad that he can at least be home some of the time.
Well, i guess for me, I can say that summer is officially here after 11 o'clock tomorrow. Summer school ends and I have six weeks of nothing to do. I am so excited to have that extra time to maybe do some fun things and work around the house. I feel kind of bad about going that long without working, but i definately dont want to go back for another summer of missing all of the 4th and 24th of july events and slaving over a hot grill at big j's. I figured that 5 years was long enough to slave away for pretty much nothing :) Im not really sure about what im going to do as far as fun goes, but we'll see.

Camping

Well this last Friday night when i got off work, Liz and I decided we would go camping. Its something that we had decided to do when we got married and that we would always do with our kids someday. Well since we don't have any kids yet( and not for a while), we took our two furry kids. We went out to Kilgore and stayed at Paul and Ellen Romrells place. I worked for them all through high school and that and they have a huge lawn and a well out there so it was cheating just a little but ok for our first campout for the year. We cooked some hamburgers on our little grill we got for our wedding, and then we went to sleep, but not for long. We decided to put Bailey and Rugar in the back of the pickup and they could sleep there. Well Bailey made it a thing to whine all night long. We didn't hear a peep out of Rugar. Maybe its just a female thing. Just kidding. We probably only got a few hours of sleep. When we woke up we went fishing again. Liz was such a good sport about fishing again. We thought it was cute while she sat there, Rugar thought he'd just rest his head on Liz's lap. We caught nine fish and then came home and had all the fun part of coming back from a campout and cleaning stuff up. It was the first time Liz had ever been camping and I think she really enjoyed it. She's such a good sport to try something new. I love her and know that she will be an awesome mother someday. Anyway hope everybody is doing good. C ya.

Our Kids

Our Kids
These are our two kids. Bailey is our yellow lab and we got her on the 21st of Feburary. She's so smart and full of energy. Then our newest edition is Rugar our little black lab. We just got him on the 26th of April. He's definately more out spoken then Bailey is and doesn't let her push him around. That's all the kid's were going to have for now.

About Me

We got married on the 4th of Janurary. We dated for almost 3 years so lets just say we really knew each other before we got married. We got married in the Idaho Falls Temple. Liz just graduated from BYU-Idaho with a bachelors in Elementary Education. She will be teaching 1st grade at South Fork Elementary School in Archer this coming fall. I just finished my final year of school going into being an Electrian. I still work for Xtreme Electric and still keeping really busy with summer coming.
