A Breath of Fresh Air...FINALLY!!!

Well, Im guessing that everyone thought we were dead for awhile, but Im happy to report that after 12 long weeks at school, I have finally made it out alive! There has been a lot of things that have changed since I last posted, so this is probably going to be a long one. First of all there is school! I was about ready to pull my hair out several times this semester! I have never had harder classes than this before! I had a childrens lit class that I had to read 68 childrens books, write a summary for each one, do 8 lesson plans and present them and write 12 additional papers. Destry would always ask me if that was the only class that I was taking because everytime he saw me, that was what I would be working on. Needless to say, the last day of the semester I piled a huge pile of papers in front of the fireplace! I have been trying to run in at least one race a month since June. On thanksgiving day I had the opportunity to run in the Run to Feed the Hungry. There were over 500 people that participated. As you can see in the pictures, I had one of my best buddies with me :) I wish he could have ran with me, but the trail was really narrow and there were a lot of people, so he stayed and waited at the finish line with my amazing husband Destry. I really appreciate that he takes the time to come to all of my races and cheer me on. I would have taken a picture of me and destry too, but my camera died when I was getting it out. The only problem at that race was there was one member of the family missing...Bailey. She came up missing the sunday before Thanksgiving. We came home from church and she had knocked her kennel door open. Needless to say we were all heartbroken. I felt bad for Rugar because he has had her around since we got him as well. I miss having both of them around. I dont think there needs to be much of an explanation about where she went. About a month ago, I ended up having to quit my job at the school. I had to leave because I was so behind in school and it was taking a lot of gas money/time to drive to rexburg 2-3 times a day for tests and group projects. I loved my job with those kids, and they will always have a special place in my heart. They made me a card and we had a party the day I left. Its amazing how attached I was to the job. I guess a part of me felt like I was as close to heavanly father as I could be when I would work with those kids. It was a really hard decision to leave, but i know I did what was best. I just wish that some of the people in this world could see how close to heavanly father they really are. I started a new job up at the student health center pharmacy today. It is going to be nice to be able to do my homework while im working and not have to drive back and forth so much. The nice thing about the job is that they work my schedule around whatever classes that I want to take. Destry is still working as hard as ever. He worries so much about being able to be a good husband to me and i really appreciate it. I am so excited to be able to spend my first christmas with him. I love christmas and I am so excited to finally be able to focus on what is going on and have a life for a few weeks! Well, now that ive rambled long enough, I hope that everyone is doing good and has a good holiday season!

Our Kids

Our Kids
These are our two kids. Bailey is our yellow lab and we got her on the 21st of Feburary. She's so smart and full of energy. Then our newest edition is Rugar our little black lab. We just got him on the 26th of April. He's definately more out spoken then Bailey is and doesn't let her push him around. That's all the kid's were going to have for now.

About Me

We got married on the 4th of Janurary. We dated for almost 3 years so lets just say we really knew each other before we got married. We got married in the Idaho Falls Temple. Liz just graduated from BYU-Idaho with a bachelors in Elementary Education. She will be teaching 1st grade at South Fork Elementary School in Archer this coming fall. I just finished my final year of school going into being an Electrian. I still work for Xtreme Electric and still keeping really busy with summer coming.
